Mexican Fence Post Cutting 30-40cm
$80.00
Mexican Fence Post (Pachycereus marginatus) is one of the most iconic columnar cacti, loved for its tall upright growth, clean ribbed structure, and deep green skin lined with neat white areoles. Native to Mexico, this species is commonly used as a living fence due to its fast growth and ability to form dense architectural plantings.
A favourite in arid and modern landscapes, the Mexican Fence Post is extremely hardy once established and thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It performs exceptionally well in Australian conditions, tolerating heat, drought, and periods of neglect with ease. Over time, mature plants may produce small pink-red flowers followed by ornamental fruit.
