COVID-19 Conditions of Entry

At Cactus Country the health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority. We would like to reassure everyone that we follow strict health and safety regulations and are adopting increased recommendations from the VIC Government as outlined below.

All guests are required to check in via the Service Victoria COVID Safe app and present the confirmation page to a staff member for verification.

  • Any guest that displays flu like symptoms will be refused entry.
  • Any guest that feels unwell is asked to stay home.
  • All guests must comply with directions from COVID-19 Safety Marshalls.
  • All guests must comply with all COVID-19 related restrictions.
  • During your visit to the Gardens, you must follow social distancing guidelines with 1.5 metres separation between each other unless you are members of the same household or close contacts.
  • The wearing of face masks is recommended for use where physical distancing is not able to be maintained.

General Conditions of Entry

At Cactus Country we endeavour to provide exhibits that complement the experience in our Gardens. Cactus Country has features that are not fenced including elevated walkways, sharp and long spined cacti and prickly cactus fruit that can be dangerous. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while visiting the Gardens.

Entry to Cactus Country is granted by purchasing tickets either online or at reception prior to entry.

It is an express condition of your entry and your participation in the activities conducted by Cactus Country that you do hereby, for yourself, your heirs, executors, assigns and next-of-kin and each of them release, waive and discharge Cactus Country, its officers, directors, agents and employees of and from all liability, claims or demands for all injuries, losses, damages of any kind or nature to your person or property or to that of any minor under your supervision, while on the property of Cactus Country.

  • All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Tickets may be refunded or exchanged for another day/session, depending on availability. Changes to tickets must be requested 24 hours prior to the booked date by emailing info@cactuscountry.com.au
The team will get back to you as soon as possible during business hours Monday to Friday.
  • Lost, damaged and stolen tickets may be replaced upon proof of purchase.
  • No filming or photography for commercial purposes should be carried out in the Gardens without prior written consent from Cactus Country.
  • Drones are not permitted for use on the Cactus Country property without prior written consent from Cactus Country.
  • No BYO alcoholic beverages.
  • No skateboards/rollerblades/skates/scooters.
  • No pushbikes.
  • While visiting the Gardens you may be filmed or photographed for marketing purposes.
  • In some areas of the Gardens there is CCTV surveillance.

Cactus Country reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who does not comply with the conditions of entry. Management reserves the right to refuse entry and eject persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who are disorderly, or engage in inappropriate behaviour, vandalism or evade admission. Management reserves the right to inspect any bags, clothing and other items at all entry points or within the gardens at any time. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons carrying a prohibited item. Persons 15 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times whilst in Cactus Country.

Online Tickets

Terms & Conditions

Entry to Cactus Country is granted by presenting a printed or digital ticket.

Event tickets are for single use only and are sold separately to garden entry tickets.

Online tickets are available at cactuscountry.com.au

Lost, damaged and stolen tickets may be replaced, upon proof of purchase (original receipt or valid identification) by emailing info@cactuscountry.com.au

Purchasing

Our method of tickets purchase is through the Cactus Country website, with a major credit card. Your account will be debited at the time of ordering and payment processing fees may apply, reflecting bank fees and administration costs charged to Cactus Country for credit card transactions. All prices include GST.

All credit card purchases are made through RezdyPay secure payment facility. Payment information is securely and confidentially processed by RezdyPay. Cactus Country does not have access to card details. If you believe any unauthorised use of your credit card has occurred, please notify the us by email and contact your bank directly.

When purchasing online, the customer is agreeing to give access to their name, email address, postcode and any other personal information entered (excluding payment details) to Cactus Country. These details will be held confidentially by Cactus Country and used for processing, marketing and research purposes only. No details will be passed on to a third party.

Accessing and Presenting E-Tickets

Once purchased online, the customer will receive an email including ticket details and QR Code. This can be presented at Garden Entry by way of print or digital ticket. Online orders can be recovered from Garden entry, but valid ID must be provided.

To avoid problems in receiving your email purchase confirmation, ensure that you enter a valid email address and check that your inbox spam filter will not block Cactus Country content. Please allow up to sixty minutes for the email purchase confirmation to arrive.

No tickets will be available to be purchased over the phone.

Cactus Country reserves the right to adjust operating hours without prior notice.

Refund Policy – Both Tickets & Online E-Tickets.

In the event that Cactus Country needs to close due to a severe weather event or Covid restrictions, ticket holders will be offered a change of date or a refund.
