Happy Hour is on Friday and Saturday from 5pm til 6pm with 2 for 1 margaritas, Coronas and mulled wine by the fire pit at sunset. Tickets are $10 and include garden entry from 5pm til 7pm. Book online, or call/text 0427 745 271 if you need a hand. The kitchen is open from 5pm til 7pm.

Join our colourful Easter weekend fiesta from April 3-5 at Cactus Country!
Our journey began with a passion for bringing the vibrant spirit of Mexico to our spectacular desert gardens. We discovered that the rich traditions of Mexican celebrations perfectly complement our stunning cacti landscapes, creating an atmosphere that transports visitors to another world.
This Easter weekend, our gardens will come alive with the colours, flavours and a feeling of joy that only Easter can bring.
From Good Friday through Easter Monday, immerse yourself in our Mexican-inspired celebration:

Fright Fest 2025
Cactus Country is thrilled to announce we are hosting our Halloween ‘Fright Fest’ on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of October between 5.30pm and 9.30pm.
Our 12-acre gardens have been transformed into a spooky paradise, the perfect home for witches and ghosts… so be careful as you make your way through our exciting scavenger hunt! This is the perfect event for the whole family – including the dog (as long as they are on a lead). Don’t forget to bring along a torch if you are feeling brave enough to explore the gardens after dark.
We are looking forward to seeing all our guests dressed up for the event, with the incentive of a Halloween fancy dress competition where amazing prizes are up for grabs!
Staged photo areas make the perfect background for pictures with your family and friends, with props available to add a touch of Mexico.
So, grab a frozen margarita, have a jump on the bouncy castle and enjoy some food from the BBQ all whilst watching the spectacular sunset over Strathmerton.
Our plant sales will also be open throughout the event, for you find a prickly friend to call your own!
