Potting your cutting:
Allow the cut end to remain dry and calloused before planting.
Fill a pot with a free-draining cactus mix.
Plant the cutting just deep enough to support itself (around 5–10 cm).
Do not water immediately. Wait 1–2 weeks before the first light watering to encourage healthy root development.
Place in a warm, bright position with indirect light until roots have established, then gradually introduce it to more direct sun.
