"I'm a guide at the Botanical Gardens in Adelaide and l would thoroughly recommend this garden. If you take the brochure around you will find lots of interesting stories about the cacti and you will also be amazed at the diversity of shapes and spines and also color. Thankyou very much."
Hi Julie, just thought I would send you an email and let you know that all the plants I got have arrived safely home. I also wanted to thank all of you for a truly wonderful visit/s. I was blown away by the plants you have in the collection and it proved a great holiday for us all ( I think the lil man enjoyed himself when he wasn't hungry!) Now I have to get rid of some plants or make some new gardens to fit everything in. Thanks again for a wonderful time. We hope to come up again when we have more time and garden space!!!
Kind regards Jason, Jinny and Justin. (Melbourne)

"Cactus Country is mind-blowing, it’s like stepping into some kind of pre-historic, science-fiction landscape, there’s just amazing, gigantic plants as far as the eye can see. I had no idea that so many different varieties of cactus even existed!"

"A very interesting visit. We haven’t seen any similar displays like this.
The breakdown of plants by countries of origin was of interest. Really surprising to see how the plants prosper in a totally different environment to their natural home.
We loved wandering at our own pace with the information book to help us increase our knowledge."

"Hello Julie.
What a joy to have visited your 'Cactus Country' on Tuesday.
The total experience was just wonderful from the start, when you boarded the coach with your lovely warm welcome, right until the end when we were presented with the zucchinis. We had fun distributing them at the end of the day - they were all in a rather risqué mood by then, and Roma to whom you donated the zucchinis, was happy to share with the others. I made certain that Roma received the biggest two.
You and Jim and family are to be congratulated on all the years of dedication, planning and persevering with your goals, fulfilling your dreams and now enjoying the wonderful reality. The colours, the varieties, the growth of the cacti and the creative design of your 'village' was just special and unique. My Jim and I have been to Albuquerque and travelled into the indigenous part of New Mexico - great memories in many ways. Setting took me back there.
Your Morning Tea was another 'hit' and greatly appreciated. Everyone even discussed the lovely cups and saucers. No plastic! And the Muffins to 'die for'. You didn't have too many sales, however, the word of your place has already been spreading. Pam has told all the nine holers on the Golf course and the other Volies have been in to say what a lovely place they will take their visitors to next time.
You have thought of every aspect. The information booklet for reference is also a top idea.
We did not expect what we experienced and that in itself is another 'wow factor'
Once again congratulations, thank you and splendidly done.!! Bless you all"
Kindest regards Barb and the team of staff and Volies at YMT
